Dear Unite the Union member,
You may have heard speculation of a possible demonstration taking place in the near future at the HPC site, regarding two disputed electrical training standards. Please be advised that both of these standards have been withdrawn and the issue is now correctly being addressed in line with the HPC agreement. Unite is represented at these talks by officers and lay representatives.
In the event that a demonstration does materialise your Unite the union site representatives and officials urge members to continue working as normal and allow any issues to be resolved using the correct procedures.
Please rest assured that this issue is being dealt with efficiently, professionally and within an agreed timeframe.
I will say this again HOW CAN CIVIL WORKERS DETERMINE WHAT WILL GO ON WHEN MECHANICAL WORK STARTS ?? i have heard there is major problems with the transport to and from site at the moment , well that will be getting sorted before any of us Mechanical lads get on that job and whoever wrote that statement wants the sack telliing good members lies !!!!
WE SHALL NOT SURRENDER!!!!
Until the ESO is completely off the table and the attempt to deskill the electrical trade had stopped we will continue protesting and making our stance. years of college and training for these companies to undermine us to line their own pockets
wow pay our union fees monthly to get that sort of response from unite!! Seems like we are on our own ladies and gentlemen i say cancel union fees and put the money towards causing baileys and the rest havoc 👍🏽💪🏽
Who ever wrote this has no right. The electrical mechanical combine and rank and file represent electrical and mechanical workers not stooges who the company chose they were not elected. Who ever wrote these lies do not represent us. You are treading a fine line with the truth. In fact your chatting bull, my understanding is the emec combine rejected this. this is why we need our own sector within unite to stop road sweepers joiners and brick trades stitching us up. Can’t wait till lockdown finishes so we can descend on the project.
