What is Tolpuddle all about?

Back in 1834, six Dorset farm workers stood up to crushing wage cuts and risked everything for their families — via one of the first of it's kind trade union protests - they were punished with deportation to Australia. A mass movement back in the UK fought hard, won their return and kept their loved ones afloat. Their grit and the ideals they sparked still power our trade unions today.
