Trade Union lifting update

Following a joint union meeting with Rob Jordan and Alex Smale yesterday morning, we were advised of the following:

•Bylor lifting continues to be suspended.

•Some limited essential heavy lifting and lifting to support safe working environment changes will be supported by NNB over the forthcoming weekend November 22nd and 23rd to support NNB’s direction for a phased return to BYLOR lifting.

•The Client consulted with the Unions in respect of a 4 phased plan.

•The plan includes potential dedicated green walkways - free from lifting.

•Further joint union consultation and comms will follow on Monday afternoon.

All of the above has been enacted to immediately improve safety and provide more confidence in a safe process for the project and workers.

Should you have further concerns please discuss them with your respective H&S Rep, who will ensure they are given consideration by the Convenors and discussed during consultation.
