Mental Health Awareness Week: Thank You & What’s Next

Last week, we marked Mental Health Awareness Week across site, and we want to say a big thank you to everyone who took the time to stop by and chat with our MHFA (Mental Health First Aid) representatives.

The MHFA Unite tables provided a relaxed and welcoming space where people could have open conversations, ask questions, or simply take a moment to focus on their wellbeing. It was great to see so many of you getting involved, helping to break down stigma, and supporting one another.

Looking Ahead

Because of the positive response, we’re pleased to confirm that these sessions will now continue on a weekly basis.

📍 First weekly session: Tuesday, 19th May

📍 Location: East Canteen

These regular sessions will give everyone ongoing access to support, guidance, and a friendly chat whenever needed.

Member Engagement & Giveaways

During the week, we also shared a number of Unite t-shirts with members who engaged with the sessions. This is something we’ll continue going forward - so if you’re a Unite member and come along to chat, you may receive a free t-shirt as a thank you for getting involved.

Thanks again to everyone who stopped by and took the time to talk, and a big thank you to our MHFA reps for creating such a welcoming and supportive space - let’s keep breaking the stigma, keep the conversations going, and continue looking out for one another, because mental health truly matters.
