Bylor Slinger Signaller update

Following a meeting at the Hinkley Campus on Tuesday evening it was decided by those in attendance that they wouldn’t be available to work on a weekend or any hours outside of the site hours during the week. This is not an official overtime ban organised by the unions as there has been no official ballot.

Overtime outside of site working hours is on a voluntary basis and it is an individual’s choice whether they would like to work or not. We would like to reinforce that there should be no come back whether that be from a company or an individual for the choice someone else has made, be that to work voluntary overtime or not.

We continue to speak with both Bylor and the client about the situation and hope that an amicable resolution can be reached.
