International Workers Memorial Day

Join Unite SW/8257, the largest HPC branch, as we come together to mark International Workers’ Memorial Day - a time to remember those who have lost their lives at work and to renew our commitment to protecting the living.

This important event will take place at Blake Gardens, Bridgwater, bringing together members, activists, and the wider community in solidarity and reflection. We are honoured to welcome guest speakers Sharon Graham, Unite General Secretary, and Ines Lage, TUC Regional Secretary, who will share their insights on the ongoing fight for safer workplaces and stronger protections for workers.

Together, we will reflect on those we’ve lost, stand united, and reaffirm our collective mission:

“Remember the dead. Fight for the living.”
